The endemic galapagos penguin hunting for anchovies above a school of the endemic black striped salemas at Punta Vicente Roca in the Galapagos. This clip was filmed in 60 frames/second slow motion with a Panasonic Lumix GH4 in November 2014.
Note: This clip is a preview for our stories to come from the Galapagos. Diving at Punta Vicente Roca was one of the best diving ever, so please be sure to see the whole adventure in full length and color soon.
"It's crazy to see how fast penguins can move under water considering the fact that they are pretty bad performing physical exercises on land. Tiny wings make such a difference. I couldn't stop watching them. Penguins are one of my secret favorites. Punta Vicente Roca is also home to sea lions, mola molas and all the usual suspects like eagle rays and turtles." - Flo
