Galápagos #6: Punta Vicente Roca
Dramatic rock formations and different colored layers in the stones … that is Punta Vicente Roca from above. But the real beauty hides below the surface. Three endemic species right there. First the Black Striped Salemas, a huge swarm with millions of fish. Second the Galapagos Sea Lions and third the Galapagos Penguins which are my secret favorites. The Sea Lions and Penguins dive through the Salemas who seem to be a big liquid mass. To imagine that these three species play their game day after day and that they can not be found anywhere else on the planet is just unbelievable.
And additional we also have up to ten Mola Molas on each dive… Well, this is truly a magical spot and so far the best diving I have ever experienced. Also a perfect last spot on our Galápagos Trip.
Note: This is the sixth and last episode of our documentation about our trip to the Galápagos National Park. See all episodes of the series here.
