This Dronie takes place at the Glasswindow Bridge, Eleuthera. The islands separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Bahama Banks, Caribbean. From far up in the air you can see the big difference in the water colors of theres two waters. But as the eyes get closer and closer we see another detail: It’s our friend Mace … in the middle of the bridge, blocking the single lane.
‘Blocking’ was officially selected by the jury of the NYC Drone Film Festival 2015, the world’s first drone film festival ever, and was running up in the category ‘Most Epic Dronie’. Read and see everything about our trip to New York City to the festival in March 2015 here.
And: Can you believe it? This Dronie together with some others of our Dronies will be exhibited at the ‘museum angewandte kunst’ (museum for applied arts) in Frankfurt (Main) in April 2015. Crazy!
"The Glasswindow Bridge is kind of a magical place. It is so astonishing how big the difference of the colors of the Atlantic Ocean on the one side and of the Bahama Banks on the other side is, even though they are just 10 to 20 meters away from each other. So, what a great spot for a Dronie like this!" - Micha
